In December, EVENTÔIR organised an Incentive in Iceland for DHL, a well-known courier, package delivery and mail express services company. For the event, the company decided to choose a magical destination where the guests can experience the wonders of Iceland. The group stayed in a well-situated hotel called Grand Hotel located in Reykjavik.

The guests transported from the airport to Reykjavik to explore the beautiful city and what it offered. The guests had a wonderful dinner at Apotek, a well-known grill house restaurant offering a grand variety of meat. The next day the participants enjoyed a day full of meetings at the hotel.

On Wednesday, the guests enjoyed a full-day programme where they went on ATV rides around the national park in Iceland. From there, they had a lunch at Lava Restaurant in Hotel “Blue Lagoon”. After a great lunch, participants had the privilege of enjoying some quality relaxing time in the Blue Lagoon.

Friday started of by traveling with the incredible supertrucks. These cars are no normal cars. Due to the rugged landscape in Iceland, these 4×4 supertrucks are well equipped for the travel and have an experience driver and guide who know the landscape perfectly well. Incentive in Iceland.

First stop was in one of the Glaciers. Guests had the opportunity to take in such astonishing views with the warm pink colours of the sunrise. After that the super trucks drove the group down the glacier following a snowmobile which guided us to another fascinating experience being a glacier cave. The glacier caves are best to be visite during the months of November and March.

Once finishing the morning in the glacier it was time to head to the next destination, Gullfoss waterfall in the canyon of the Hvítá river. The gullfoss waterfall is part of the Golden Circle and is known to be one of icelands most famous waterfalls.
Following this, it was time for lunch and to visit the famous Geysir Hotsprings. This phenomenon lies in an active geothermal area. The bursting happened every 5 to 10 minutes.

Lastly to finish of the amazing adventure, the group had a final mesmerisng view spotting, The Thingvellir National Park. A historic site and a UNESCO world heritage site where once can stand between both continental plates.
