EVENTÔIR planned a remarkable 5-day company retreat in the natural inland of Barcelona for BeReal, a cutting-edge social media app. With 70 participants from all over the world, this gathering was a testament to BeReal. The retreat served as a unique platform for networking. Amidst the natural backdrop of Mas Salagros, attendees delved into enriching experiences. They discovering not only the beauty of the inland but also new possibilities for BeReal’s future growth. The event resulted in a remarkable buyout of Mas Salagros EcoResort, ensuring an exclusive and intimate atmosphere for all participants.

Upon their arrival from the airport, attendees were welcomed to the hotel. With a few hours to spare, participants indulged in preparation and relaxation, taking in the hotel’s magnificent ambiance. The evening commenced with a warm welcome aperitivo, where participants shared a drink.
Following the aperitivo, attendees had the chance to prepare for a sumptuous barbecue dinner. This inaugural evening set the stage perfectly, fostering connections, and paving the way for a week of meaningful interactions.

The core objective of BeReal’s company retreat to Barcelona was focused around meetings, aimed at fostering collaboration and communication. By opting for a complete buyout of the hotel, BeReal guaranteed an exclusive environment favorable to specific discussionss. Each morning throughout the week, attendees gathered in various meeting rooms, immersing themselves in engaging sessions.

On the first day, following the morning’s productive meetings, Participants joined each other for activities organized at the hotel. From immersive cooking classes to creative cocktail and fragrance workshops, delightful wine tastings. Participants not only honed new skills but also forged deeper connections with one another.

As the day drew to a close, the highlight awaited: a paella dinner served under the sky at the hotel. The rich flavours of the Mediterranean ingredients mingled. They provide a perfect culinary experience to cap off the first day of the company retreat.

On the second day, attendees were rewarded with a delightful escape into the heart of Barcelona. Embarking on a tapas tour, participants explored the city’s culinary wonders.

When they ventured into three exceptional tapas restaurants. Each restaurant provided a unique gastronomic experience, allowing attendees to savour the diverse flavours of Barcelona.

To kick-start a fresh day, attendees began with a serene morning yoga session at the hotel, setting a harmonious tone for the day ahead. Also, in the afternoon, participants engaged in a variety of activities within the hotel fostering team spirit.

When the day culminated in a culinary delight: a tapas dinner served at the Hotel’s restaurant, renowned for its cuisine, offered a delectable array of tapas, which delights the taste buds and offers a perfect blend of Spanish flavours.

As the sun set over Barcelona, the atmosphere transformed into one of celebration. The evening commenced with a leisurely dinner, allowing attendees to savour the flavours of Spain one last time. Then, the night came alive at CDLC Barcelona, where the company of newfound colleagues mingled with the pulsating beats of music, creating an unforgettable ambiance of connection. This grand finale marked not just the end of the company retreat, but the beginning of lasting relationships and a shared vision for the future.

With over 25 years of experience in national and international corporate events, Lidia specializes in the automotive and MICE sectors across Europe. Her German–Spanish heritage and fluency in Spanish, German, and English give her a unique intercultural perspective, allowing her to quickly adapt to client needs.

Lidia is passionate, proactive, and flexible — equally comfortable leading projects or collaborating within a team. Known for her strong communication and negotiation skills, she is dedicated to creating events that exceed expectations for both attendees and organizers.

Having grown up in Spain, she works fluently in English, Dutch, and Spanish, which allows her to collaborate effortlessly with clients and partners around the world.

She has successfully delivered complex projects for global brands, including multi-day programs for up to 7,000 participants across 20 venues. Known for her meticulous planning, creative concepts, and ability to unite diverse stakeholders, Jacqueline blends business objectives with memorable guest experiences. Her flexibility and attention to detail have earned her a reputation as a trusted partner for brands seeking both elegance and flawless execution.

Outside of work, she is passionate about exploring new destinations and planning unforgettable trips. She enjoys staying active with nature hikes, gym workouts, Reformer Pilates, and Yin Yoga. She also loves cooking Mediterranean-inspired dishes, good coffee, and photography, with a special interest in interior design.
